For the “Tölzer Jazztage” (an annual happening Jazz-Festival in Bad Tölz / Germany) posters and invitation programs should be designed that communicate the main information on the first sight: Jazz from June 23rd until June 24th 2006 in Bad Tölz.

So I chose a quite typographic language that accentuates the most important information in a highly visible way. To add a clear Jazz-aspect to the means of communication I chose the silhouette of a very typical Jazz-instrument (the saxophone) and a color-combination that is also quite often associated with Jazz: black and red.
